The 3C17206 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE is an attractively priced enterprise-class 10/100 Ethernet switching in a reliable Layer 2 platform features an easy upgrade to multilayer capabilities. Designed for all network sizes and applications, this new-generation switch offers comprehensive functionality ranging from plug-and-play installation to hot-swappable resilient stacking.

Optional 3C17206 plug-in modules let you expand the 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE to provide cost-effective, resilient, high-speed connections such as Gigabit Ethernet copper and fiber backbone links to ensure rapid access to important network resources. And to protect your investment, you can upgrade the SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE to the enhanced functionality of the other products in the SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 family. The upgrade is available late 2002.
