Overview:
The CacheFlow 500 is a high performance Internet caching appliance that has been optimized to accelerate e-commerce applications, offload overburdened firewalls and scale web hosting facilities. The 500 series is being deployed in front of mission critical web sites to:

· Handle more customer transactions and improve customer QoS
· Cut costs by scaling existing network infrastructure
· Offload servers to deliver accelerated performance and surge protection
· Offload firewalls by serving cacheable content outside the firewall

Supporting incoming traffic loads from 1 to 15Mbps the 500ec Series is also being deployed as a high performance caching solution for ISPs and Enterprises who want to:

· Reduce WAN bandwidth utilization and costs
· Dramatically improve Internet & Intranet response time
· Scale network capacity with minimal infrastructure investments
